**Job Title:** IT Solutions Architect, Data
**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect to join our team at BioTalent Canada. As a key member of our Digital Team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing patient data hub solutions for large projects and programs.
Main Responsibilities- **Lead Patient Data Hub Design:** Translate high-level business requirements into data models and appropriate metadata, test data, and data quality standards.
- **Implement Patient Hub Architecture:** Design and implement patient hub architecture and design to meet business use case requirements and expand capabilities.
- **Direct and Control Teams:** Direct and control large specialist teams to undertake the delivery of comprehensive patient data-centric projects.
- **Governance and Shaping:** Work as part of the program management team on large programs, governing and shaping the delivery of projects.
- **Collaborative Teamwork:** Lead collaborative team working with other areas within Digital to ensure that all solutions are complete, operable, conform to business processes, and meet the business needs.
- **End-to-End Solution:** Responsible throughout the entire project lifecycle for the end-to-end solution of the project and compliance with enterprise data model and logical data groups.
- **Peer Review and Quality Assurance:** Lead and participate in the peer review and quality assurance of project architectural artifacts across Digital teams through governance forums.
- **Define and Manage Standards:** Define and manage standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure patient data hub quality.
- **Technology Alignment:** Ensure technology solutions are in alignment with patient data architecture principles and target state.
- **Patient Data Needs:** Work with Digital teams, business analysts, and data analytics teams to understand patient data needs and develop solutions.
- **Education and Experience:** Bachelor's degree with minimum of 7 years of experience in Patient Data Architecture, with specialization in relevant technologies.
- **Technical Skills:** Ability to translate functional requirements into technical/solution design, strong experience with Agile-based development, and direct experience as Solution Architect.
