Senior Insurance Consultant

Drive life insurance revenue growth by supporting smaller sales opportunities, particularly lifestyle protection solutions, within a designated region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end insurance sales process for lifestyle protection solutions and select permanent insurance opportunities, including providing quotes, meeting with clients and advisors, and delivering policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with advisors and Client Solutions specialists in the region, driving the integration of lifestyle protection solutions into total wealth planning.
- Provide back-up support to peers in other regions as needed, and collaborate with SWIS colleagues to drive advisor and client engagement on insurance overall.
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Understand how Scotiabank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of insurance sales processes in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles.
- Requirements
- Life Insurance Licensing
- Extensive knowledge of the life insurance industry
- 5+ years of insurance industry experience, including sales
- CFP or CLU or willingness to pursue them; CSC
