High Acuity Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our High Acuity Unit at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to acutely ill patients with complex needs.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and contributing to the development of evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and complex needs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based practice through research, quality improvement initiatives, and education
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Completion of a recognized advanced nursing specialty program in High Acuity Nursing or two years' recent, related experience in a high acuity setting
- Broad knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a client/family-centered model of care
- Demonstrated ability to plan and implement plans of care in relation to client/family priorities
What We Offer:
Vancouver Coastal Health offers a competitive salary range of CAD $41.42/Hr. - CAD $55.91/Hr., as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including MSP, extended health and dental, and municipal pension plan.
