Key Responsibilities:- Provide Expert HR Guidance: Offer professional coaching and advice to selected business groups, ensuring that HR management decisions and practices meet legislation as well as company values.
- Collaborate with Peers: Work in collaboration with peers to provide support and professional guidance related to human resources management.
- Participate in Management Committees: Participate in the management committees of the assigned group(s), be aware of human resources management issues and ensure the decisions and practices align with our business strategies and values and are legally and ethically sound.
- Investigate and Resolve Issues: Assist with investigations, assist managers in conflict management and other issues.
- Support National Projects: Participate in local or national projects and deployment of corporate initiatives and programs.
- Analysis and Recommendations: Search, analyze data and recommend potential solutions to a variety of tactical and operational issues in human resources management.
- Facilitate Training Sessions: Facilitate focus group, training workshops and information sessions for employees and/or managers.
- Conduct Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews.
- HR Cycle Support: Collaborate and work with managers on the HR cycle.
- Salary Recommendations: Make salary recommendations based on compensation best practices.
- Contribute to HR Process Improvement: Support Senior Consultants in all types of mandates and contribute to the HR process improvement.
- Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree: Post-secondary diploma or degree with a Human Resources specialization.
- Related Experience: 3 years of related experience in Human Resources.
- Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Proven ability to quickly establish and cultivate effective working relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization and influence their decision as necessary.
- Adaptability and Resilience: A flexible, agile, and resilient approach to working in a dynamic ever-changing work environment.
- Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence and relational ease with all hierarchical levels.
- Critical and Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of critical and strategic thinking to solve operational and/or complex problems.
- Technical Expertise: Ability to evolve in a multi-site, matrix organization and in a constantly evolving environment.
- Knowledge of Human Resources: Strong communication, influencing, analytical, synthesis and interpersonal skills.
- Legislation and Compliance: Technical, up-to-date expertise in Human Resources and employment legislation.
- Talent Management and Performance: Knowledge in many areas of human resources including talent management, performance management and employee relations, disability management, engagement, compensation.
- Microsoft Suite: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
- CHRP Designation: CHRP and/or CHRL designation completed or in progress is an asset.
- Bilingualism: For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience.
