CAD Operator Job Description

Modern Technical Staffing Inc. is seeking a skilled CAD Operator to support their precast concrete industry client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and read blueprint drawings with precision.
  • Review technical details to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare shop drawings for submission and fabrication.
  • Maintain technical information and registry documents.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation is an asset.
  • Proven ability with CAD software: AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
  • Attention to details and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office – MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Database.

As a CAD Operator, you will play a crucial role in preparing and maintaining technical information for the client's precast concrete projects.
