Culinary Operations Manager

At Alpine Cafe, we are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Manager to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who can manage the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and possess a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures. Additionally, they should be proficient in managing inventory, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring timely preparation and service of meals
- Develop and implement menu plans, taking into account seasonal ingredient availability and customer preferences
- Manage inventory levels, minimizing waste and optimizing stock control
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and coaching as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Detailed knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
