The Great Lakes College of Toronto is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff and faculty. This includes arranging and coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events, as well as recording and preparing minutes of meetings and other events.

You will also be responsible for determining and establishing office procedures and routines, answering telephone calls and relaying messages, and overseeing the preparation of reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory, typing and proofreading correspondence, forms, and other documents, and planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. You will also have experience with Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and SharePoint.

As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be a key member of our team and will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our college. Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and SharePoint
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
