Job Summary: Warner Industries is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Operator to transport students to and from school. The ideal candidate will have a Class 5/5F/G Licence and a School Bus Endorsement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate buses safely and efficiently to transport students to and from school.
  • Report any delays, mechanical problems, or accidents to the dispatcher.
  • Complete logbooks and reports as required.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and other drivers using two-way radio systems.
  • Ensure the safety of students at all times, including during boarding and exiting the bus.
  • Maintain control of student activities during travel to prevent distractions or behaviors that could compromise safety.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures as required.

Requirements:

  • Class 5/5F/G Licence and School Bus Endorsement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
