Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at the Burns Lake Maintenance Shop. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
  • Ensure all work is done in accordance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment

Requirements:

  • Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
  • Valid Red Seal Certification as an Electrician
  • B.C. Driver's License class 5 with an exemplary driving record
  • Experience gained through Trades Qualification apprenticeship program inclusive of 2 years industry-related experience
  • WHMIS Certificate and familiarity with Work Safe BC (WCB) safety procedures
