Kuntz Electroplating Inc. is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Automation Technician to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials.
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications.
  • Prepare and interpret standards and schedules for maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants.
  • Test machines and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
