Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Expert to join our team at Canada Goose. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual external financial statements, Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A), and securities filings in Canada and the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Upload internal financial statements and supporting schedules into the Workiva Wdesk financial reporting platform.
  • Prepare note disclosures and certain supporting schedules.
  • Support the preparation of the MD&A.
  • Review XBRL tagging of Annual Financial Statements in Workiva Wdesk platform.

You will also be responsible for assisting in quarterly reviews and annual year-end audit of financial statements, as well as providing support for Canada Goose's global lease portfolio.

Requirements:
  • University degree in Business/Accounting.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is in progress, completed is an asset.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Experience in financial analysis or data analytics.
  • Experience in the Consumer Products industry, retail or manufacturing a definite asset.
  • Experience working in publicly traded companies listed in Canada and the United States, or experience working in private companies with regimented reporting requirements.
  • Working within an internal control reporting framework preferred, preferably COSO.
