Mechanical Equipment Assembler and Troubleshooter

About Canvas Craft Industries Ltd.
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Assembler and Troubleshooter to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position with 40 hours per week.
Job Summary
- In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical equipment, detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions, and performing routine maintenance work on machinery.
- You will also be required to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements, construct foundations for machinery, fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up, and estimate costs and materials.
- Furthermore, you will operate machining tools to fabricate parts, program programmable logic controllers (PLCs), install machinery and equipment, commission systems and components, and perform other related tasks.
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
