Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mailroom Administrator to join our team. As a Mailroom Administrator, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail, as well as performing various data entry functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming mail and courier, including receiving, opening, sorting, and delivering
- Process outgoing mail, courier, and trackable shipments, including creating labels and tracking packages
- Weigh mail and calculate correct postage
- Operate standard small operations equipment, including postage meters, folders, and automatic letter openers
- Update daily report logs
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors
- Research tracking inquiries
- Process incoming faxes and distribute accordingly
- Assist with month-end client billing, including processing vendor invoices
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- 1+ year of administrative or mailroom experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime during peak volumes
- Visual volume high
- Lifting required, less than 40lbs
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a wide range of tasks and projects
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external clients
- Works well in a team environment and actively contributes to the success of the group
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial services industry experience
- Bilingual in English/French
- Canadian Securities Course
