We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Supervisor to join our team at BANSAL LOGISTICS INC. This is a permanent role with a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 per annum.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics team, ensuring that all tasks and projects are completed efficiently and effectively. You will also be responsible for supervising workers and projects, dispatching bus drivers and monitoring routes, coordinating repairs and rentals, and requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this role.
  • You should have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar field.
Work Setting

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. Relocation costs are not covered by the employer.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare production and other reports as required.
  2. Recommend measures to improve work methods and productivity.
  3. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  4. Supervise workers and projects to ensure that they are completed efficiently and effectively.
  5. Train or arrange for training as needed.
  6. Dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes to ensure that deliveries are made on time.
  7. Coordinate and schedule activities to meet deadlines.
  8. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
  9. Recommend personnel actions as needed.
  10. Coordinate repairs and rentals to minimize downtime.
  11. Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week in a dynamic and challenging environment. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
