About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Passionate Kitchen Concept Inc. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality wooden furniture and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Woodworking Machines: Safely operate a variety of woodworking machines, including power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
  • Study Plans and Specifications: Carefully study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assemble and Finish Products: Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, and reinforce joints as needed. Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Ensure a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Repair and Restyle Furniture: Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products to meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in woodworking or a related field.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
