Salary Information
The expected base salary for this position is $67,500 to $150,000 per year, depending on location, skills, and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for bonus awards.
Job Description
As an Audit and Assurance Methodology Specialist at KPMG Canada, you will support the Department of Professional Practice (DPP) Audit & Assurance group with methodology matters, including:
- Supporting engagement teams with the application of our audit methodology in our workflow tool and audit manual;
- Developing, enhancing, and maintaining Canadian content related to the application of the methodology;
- Developing, updating, and delivering training sessions related to the application of the methodology as necessary.
You will also support the DPP Audit & Assurance group with Customization and Translation (C&T) matters, including standardization initiatives and other C&T-related projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in the audit practice;
- CPA Designation or equivalent education;
- Dedication and strong work effort;
- Demonstrates leadership qualities;
- Drive to achieve high standards of service and professionalism in the performance of duties;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excels at delivering presentations to variety of audiences;
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as in groups;
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Positive attitude, self-starter and self-motivated;
- Must display good judgment;
- Proficiency in English at a business level is required.
