Family Support Specialist

The RoleAs a Family Mentor at Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre Inc, you will be responsible for maintaining and promoting the wellbeing of our residents. This includes providing physical care, menu planning and meal preparation, medication administration, day-to-day house management, and documentation. You will also support residents in developing individual skills, talents, and abilities while ensuring their health and safety requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe and healthy living environment
- Support residents in achieving their goals and aspirations
- Provide emotional support and guidance to residents
- Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the needs of each resident
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Experience working with vulnerable populations
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
$45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
