Job OverviewWe're recruiting an experienced Corporate Legal Counsel to join our high-performing Legal Department at our Head Office in Toronto.
The successful candidate will work closely with operations and in-house corporate development teams to provide general legal support.
- The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of broad corporate/commercial experience gained at a leading law firm or corporation.
- Strong communication, drafting, and negotiating skills are essential.
- A desire to learn and broaden their skillset is necessary.
This role will appeal to a confident, proactive, and commercially savvy lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic legal guidance across various legal matters.
- Assist with day-to-day corporate legal matters, including real estate, employment, corporate, commercial, and risk mitigation.
- Oversee regulatory matters and coordinate with the 123Dentist community to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree and JD/LLB.
- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- 2-4 years of strong corporate law experience gained at a well-regarded law firm or organization.
- Full-time permanent employment, competitive salary (approximately $150,000-$200,000 per year), and great benefits package.
