As a Shift Manager at Mr. Sub, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. You will also be responsible for addressing customers' complaints or concerns, maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and establishing work schedules. This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week, with a team of 3-4 people under your supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Establish work schedules
This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be standing for extended periods and working under pressure. You must be physically demanding and have excellent oral communication skills.
