Salary
The hourly rate for this position is $39.07 - $56.00, with opportunities for overtime and shift differentials.

Job Description
This exciting opportunity is for a Senior Oncology Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Humber River Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the care of patients with cancer, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate chemotherapy administration, including teaching and certification processes
  • Care plan development and coordination with various team members
  • Utilization of computerized systems for documentation of patient care
  • Participation in project teams or hospital committees as required
  • Resource/team leader responsibilities
  • Preceptorship of nursing students and mentorship of new nursing staff

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BCLS certification
  • CNA certification in Oncology Nursing is preferred
  • Current DeSouza course in Oncology Foundations, preferred
  • Current DeSouza Oncology Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, preferred
  • 2 years recent experience in oncology
  • Current Oncology and/or Palliative specialty designation from CNA, preferred
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated good patient assessment skills
