Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Operations Supervisor to join our team at 7013990 Canada Inc. As a key member of our transportation management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our trucking division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 truck drivers and staff in various areas of responsibility
  • Dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes to ensure efficient transportation of goods
  • Recommend measures to improve work methods and productivity
  • Train or arrange for training to enhance staff skills and knowledge
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet business objectives
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and recommend personnel actions as needed
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support operations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 35-40 hour work week. The work language is English.
