About This Role

In this critical role, you will provide policy and project leadership, advice, and expertise in the research, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of impactful policies and programs related to the healthcare transformation agenda.

You will support high-profile ministry and government commitments, ensuring that programs meet strategic objectives that promote quality, system access, and accountability across the province.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate projects involving multi-disciplinary cross-sectorial teams, comprised of ministry and cross-ministry staff, and other partners.

You will build and manage relationships with partners and team members, leading consultations to solicit input on proposed policies.

This role requires a strong understanding of policy and program development principles and techniques, as well as government decision-making processes.

You must be able to interpret and apply policy, procedures, and legislation, and create, lead, and present briefings on complex issues analysis to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Policy and Program Expertise: You must have a strong understanding of policy and program development principles and techniques, as well as government decision-making processes.
  • Research, Evaluation, and Analytical Skills: You must be able to interpret and apply policy, procedures, and legislation, and create, lead, and present briefings on complex issues analysis to senior management.
  • Relationship Management and Facilitation Skills: You must have expertise in creating and managing complex partner relationships, working collaboratively to resolve issues, negotiate changes, and shifts in priorities.

Compensation

This position offers a competitive salary range of $82,217.00 - $121,155.00 per year, commensurate with experience.
