We are seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician II to join our team at Vestas Canadian Wind Technology, Inc. in Bathurst, New Brunswick.
The successful candidate will have a safety-focused mindset and excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
This is a dynamic role that involves performing scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and main component or blade work on wind turbines. You will be exposed to various weather conditions and will work at heights and in confined spaces.
The typical day for this position includes working 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, with an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends). Overtime is available and the ability to travel up to % per year is required.
To be considered for this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of applicable or transferrable experience in the wind industry or 2-3 years of transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background.
