About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Brookfield Renewable's Treasury Operations group and contribute to the company's growth-oriented environment. As a motivated individual seeking a challenging role, you will have the chance to work closely with our team during the winter term.

We are looking for an organized and highly adaptable professional to support our day-to-day activities in various local and international banking platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing the company's daily liquidity position to assist management in making informed decisions regarding cash forecast, receipts, and disbursements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and managing the company's daily cash position to ensure accurate forecasting and timely decision-making.
  • Assisting the Treasury team with month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including related documentation.
  • Preparing wire transfers and intercompany cash transfers in the Treasury system and various banking platforms.
  • Managing bank accounts for Brookfield Renewable and its related companies, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance.
  • Preparing financial reports, including monthly and ad-hoc statements, to support business decisions.
  • Maintaining a shared email box to support the team with meeting deadlines and completing inter-departmental tasks.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year of university studies in Commerce or Business Administration.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook tools, with the ability to quickly master new software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • A highly adaptable and professional individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment.
