At Homewood Health, we are seeking a skilled Plumbing Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our water distribution system, plumbing fixtures, and sewer systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining water distribution systems, including valves and insulation
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing pipe assemblies and plumbing fixtures
- Maintaining sewers, including sanitary, storm, vent, roof drain, and stack systems
- Performing preventive maintenance on designated equipment according to standard practice and department policy and procedure
- Planning installation needs in review of blueprints and work sketches
Requirements include:
- 3 years' experience as a licensed plumber in the Province of Ontario
- Knowledge of Provincial plumbing codes and local ordinances
- Excellent numerical and spatial ability
- Technical competence to work with Automated Building Control
