This role will provide high-level support for large-scale projects and provide support from initiation through to final implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for all aspects of the project (or phase) over the entire project life.
  • Accountable for procurement, managing vendor relations, partner relations, and managing end-user expectations.
  • Responsible for communicating status to project sponsors.
  • Responsible for financial reporting.
  • Organizing and directing work, including prioritizing assignments, providing regular performance feedback, and taking necessary corrective action as may be required.
  • Managing business analyst direct reports, providing direction, coaching, and career development.
  • Accountable for promoting a productive and positive environment for project staff that encourages innovation, teamwork, initiative, and models corporate values.

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in project management leadership or equivalent with demonstrated success in delivering large and complex projects in an IT setting with constraints of budget, timelines, and resources.
  • 3 years' experience with project procurement and vendor management.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
  • Post-secondary education at the University or Technical Institute level in one of the following: Information Technology / Business Administration / Health Sciences.

  • Technical: Ability to understand and integrate appropriate project management tools and processes.
