Job Title: Red Seal Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Millwright to join our team at JP Recruitment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical plant equipment, including pumps, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Perform maintenance rounds and inspections to identify and address potential issues.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party contractors as required to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Utilize welding and fabrication tools to alter, repair, and fabricate processing equipment.
  • Document and report all maintenance work performed and advise of future requirements in a timely manner.
  • Test and adjust equipment to meet performance specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Operate a forklift and work at heights as required.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Ontario provincial or inter-provincial (Red Seal) millwright trade certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a maintenance role.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Forklift License, an asset.
  • Confined space, an asset.
  • Working at heights, an asset.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Time and stress management.
  • Intermediate Computer Skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to write clearly and legibly.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Systems process knowledge.
  • Mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Experience in hydraulics, electrical, pumps, valves, piping, threading and pneumatic systems.
  • Excellent trouble-shooting skills.
