Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Operations Manager to join our team at MR. LUBE HAMILTON. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of our service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate a team of service technicians to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and high-quality workmanship.
  • Coordinate and schedule service activities to meet customer needs and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new service technicians to meet the needs of our growing business.
  • Estimate costs and materials for service repairs and ensure accurate billing.
  • Operate computer software systems to manage service operations and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Recommend personnel actions and participate in performance evaluations.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the automotive service industry.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.

  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate work and high-quality results.
