Hospital Care Attendant

At Jagpal & Bains Enterprises Inc., we are seeking a skilled Hospital Cleaner to join our facilities maintenance team. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our hospital facilities, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and infection control.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as dusting furniture, vacuuming carpeting, and cleaning kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
In addition to their cleaning duties, the Hospital Cleaner will also be responsible for handling and reporting lost and found items, providing basic information to patients and visitors, and assisting with other tasks as required.
We are looking for a reliable and flexible individual who is able to work a 40-hour week, including occasional evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- Dust furniture
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Handle and report lost and found items
- Provide basic information to patients and visitors
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
