Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Qwest Helicopters. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspecting structural and mechanical systems of aircraft to ensure compliance with Transport Canada standards
- Installing or modifying aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems
- Maintaining detailed repair, inspection, and certification records and reports
- Dismantling airframes, aircraft engines, or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul, and cleaning, and reassembling
- Performing and documenting routine maintenance tasks
Requirements:
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) licence
- Experience working with medium turbine helicopters and small turbine helicopters
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions:
- Physically demanding environment
- Handling heavy loads
- Standing for extended periods
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous vacation policy.
