**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Victoria General Hospital.

**Responsibilities**

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing independent nursing services and administering prescribed medical treatments as required;
  • Taking a leadership role within the healthcare team, facilitating coordination of patient care and discharge;
  • Demonstrating a commitment to the vision, values, goals, and objectives of the hospital and its staff;

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree in Registered Nursing from an approved education program;
  • Previous experience in Surgery and Emergency/Observation is considered an asset;
  • A strong understanding of the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses;
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing care for individual patients or groups of patients;
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations;
  • Proficiency with computers, software programs, and applications such as Windows and Word processing, spreadsheets, and databases;

**Estimated Salary:** $83,000 - $108,000 per year (dependent on qualifications and experience)
