About the Role

As a Patient Care Coordinator, your typical day will include:

  • Responding to resident call bells and door alarms promptly, providing courteous service.
  • Completing all aspects of resident care as outlined in the plan of care and care assignment.
  • Transporting residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office, and dining room as required.
  • Performing laundry and housekeeping duties as assigned.
  • Dealing tactfully and courteously with residents, residents' families, and reporting any concerns or complaints to the supervisor.
  • Practicing safe food handling techniques throughout all aspects of food preparation and service.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of six months of experience in a similar role.
  • Current First Aid/CPR training.
  • An excellent command of the verbal and written English language skills.
  • The ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.

Bonus points if you have a Personal Support Worker Certificate

What We Offer

At Aspira Red Oak Retirement Living, we offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, we also offer opportunities for professional development and growth.
