About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Student to join our team in the BC Region district - Kelowna Office. As a key member of our Canadian Buildings Division, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate work-specific scope and trades to ensure efficient project execution
  • Participate in project meetings to stay informed and contribute to decision-making
  • Conduct deficiency walks to identify and address potential issues
  • Input and update deficiency logs to track progress and identify trends
  • Perform quantity takeoffs to ensure accurate project estimates
  • Coordinate sub-trade work to ensure timely and cost-effective execution
  • Create and update schedules using Suretrak software to manage project timelines
  • Obtain scheduling information from sub-trades to ensure seamless project execution
Qualifications
  • A strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting
