Job Summary

The Distribution Sales Associate is a key role within Viega GmbH & Co. KG, responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with wholesale distributors in the assigned territory. This position requires a strong understanding of the wholesale distribution channel and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that meet the needs of both the company and its customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve territory sales goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale distributors, understanding their business needs and providing solutions to drive sales growth.
  • Provide product training and support to wholesale distributors, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to effectively promote and sell Viega products.
  • Collect and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities, making recommendations to improve sales performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies, including marketing and product development initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity, providing insights to inform sales strategies and improve market position.
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales records, including sales reports and customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the wholesale distribution channel and sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make recommendations to improve sales performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience

  • College or university degree required.
  • 0-1 years of product sales experience preferred.
  • Driver's license required.
  • May be required to travel overnight up to 40% of the time.
