Bakery Supervisor and Pastry Specialist

Job DescriptionThis is a key position within our bakery team, responsible for overseeing the preparation and baking of pastries, bread, and other sweet goods. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a fast-paced baking environment and possess excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dough and batters: Prepare dough and batters according to recipes or special customer orders, ensuring consistency and quality in every product.
- Bake mixed dough and batters: Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection, meeting established standards for taste, texture, and presentation.
- Frost and decorate cakes: Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet customer expectations and showcase your creativity.
- Supervise baking personnel: Supervise and train baking personnel, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and maintain high-quality standards.
- Maintain inventory and sales: Oversee inventory levels, manage sales, and optimize merchandising strategies to drive business growth.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate with a focus on culinary arts or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role within the baking industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, ability to multitask, and proficiency in operating machinery.
This role operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work effectively under pressure.
