Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Data and BI Engineer to join our team, reporting directly to the Director, Global Data Integration, Enterprise Architecture. As a key member of our data services team, you will design and develop the target data architecture, drive data warehousing, business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics, and work closely with architects, technical developers, and platform administrators.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop the target data architecture, enabling the Nutrien business architecture and driving data warehousing, business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics.
- Implement the target data architecture by identifying candidate architecture roadmap components based on gaps between the baseline and target data architectures.
- Define overarching standards and patterns across the data warehouse solution lifecycle from development to sustainment.
- Work with the larger architecture community, various business units, and development teams to manage the data assets of the organization.
- 8+ years of combined experience delivering solutions and hands-on data roles in a large-scale, heterogeneous IT environment.
- Technical experience in multiple technology domains and understanding of how that technology is used across multiple business functions, in multiple industries, to deliver business value.
- Prior work experience working with technologies like SAP HANA, other databases and DWs, BI/reporting technologies, SAP, and/or other ERPs.
- Deep understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and previous experience in DW & BI environments.
