About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to join our legal team at Ledcor. In this position, you will provide expert advice and strategic guidance on complex Labour Relations and Human Resources legal matters across the organization.

Key Responsibilities include providing expert legal advice on labour relations strategies, advising stakeholders through research and analysis, leading and representing Ledcor's interests at hearings, mediations, and civil proceedings, and partnering with senior HR leadership to provide expert legal advice and guidance to managers and HR colleagues.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of legal experience specializing in labour relations and employment law, with some in-house legal experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Canada) / Juris Doctor in Law.
  • Member in good standing of a provincial law society.
  • Highly proficient in all areas of Canadian federal and provincial employment law and human rights legislation; familiarity with United States employment law is an asset.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 based on industry standards and location.
