Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced, motivated, and client-driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Senior Staff Accountant. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with partners, managers, and other staff, and join an organization that values work/life balance and puts an emphasis on developing our people.
Responsibilities- Complete Notice to Reader engagements, corporate and personal income tax returns, and general accounting tasks.
- Provide value-added services to our small to medium-sized clients.
- Identify and resolve engagement issues.
- Ensure that deadlines and related time budgets are met.
- Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with clients, co-workers, and all levels of staff and management.
- Two plus years of progressive public accounting experience.
- University or College Accounting Degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.
- Computer skills including Caseware and Taxprep.
- Strong understanding of a client-focused environment, including related deadlines, and the ability to work to meet those deadlines.
- Sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
