Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Family Caregiver to join our team at Bairn Croft Residential Services Inc. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to infants and children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children with care and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs of the children.
  • Supervise and engage with the children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience working with children is an asset.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and colleagues.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift, bend, and move with ease. You must also be able to work a 44-hour week, including weekends and evenings.
