Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor to join our team at Barburrito at University of Alberta. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and preparation of our food products.
Key Responsibilities- Training and Development: Train staff and workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a high level of quality and efficiency.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare production and other reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Supervision and Coordination: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers to meet production demands.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess a Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certificate and knowledge of Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, overtime required, and work under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with staff and management.
- Teamwork: Ability to work as a team player and demonstrate flexibility, judgement, and reliability.
- Duration: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 25 to 40 hours per week.
