At Transat AT, we are seeking a seasoned Strategic Human Resources Leader to join our team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven professional to lead and contribute to the development of our Human Resources Business Partners.

About the Role

This strategic position involves managing a team of Human Resources Business Partners who act as key partners for the company, providing support, guidance, and advice to managers in human resources management. As a Strategic Human Resources Leader, you will work closely with managers to offer expert advice and support in managing teams focused on developing the company and individuals. You will also coach, develop, and lead your HRBP team to deliver the same level of service across all levels of the organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Accompany leaders and sectors of the company in developing their human resources, supported by a team of business partners, working alongside specialized functions (culture and talent, training, compensation, payroll).
  • Provide expert advice and consulting services to management teams in all areas of human resources management, including change management, team building, conflict resolution, and identifying opportunities to enhance the quality of human resources within the company.
  • Offer coaching and consulting services to managers in resolving human resources management issues and developing their management skills.
  • Act as a catalyst for change, supporting managers in various organizational transformations they implement.
  • Ensure a cross-functional understanding of the organization and effective communication with your team to standardize and optimize management support interventions.
  • Develop and optimize tools to support management and the application of corporate policies and programs.
  • Promote the company's culture and values.
  • Manage the preparation of various litigation files as required.
  • Collaborate and participate in various human resources projects.
  • Initiate, evaluate, and recommend improvements to HR processes and procedures.
  • Support a team of five HRBPs and ensure their professional development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • Eight to ten years of general human resources experience and three to five years of management experience.
  • Ability to sell ideas and build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop tactical plans, and execute them.
  • Good knowledge of labour laws.
  • Motivated team player with excellent influencing skills.
  • Tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Customer-oriented, autonomous, and highly organized.
  • Bilingualism (English and French), both spoken and written.
