Are you looking for a challenging role in tax planning? Doane Grant Thornton is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team.
We are a large and growing professional services firm with a strong focus on community and client relationships. Our Domestic Tax team works with a wide variety of clients, providing expert advice on corporate tax planning and compliance. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring junior colleagues, establishing deep trusting relationships with clients, and advising them on complex tax matters.
The ideal candidate will have a CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or a Master's degree in Taxation, as well as solid experience in corporate and personal Canadian tax planning and/or compliance. You will also have helped mentor and develop others, developed and presented new ideas, and conceptualized new approaches and tax solutions for clients.
In return, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, profit sharing, flexible days, RRSP contributions, firm-wide holiday closure, wellness benefits, and concierge-like benefits. We also offer the opportunity to work from anywhere in Canada during the summer months.
