About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at The Janitor Room Supply House Ltd. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meeting and Event Coordination

Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Office Procedures and Routines

Determine and establish efficient office procedures and routines to optimize productivity and workflow.

Scheduling and Communication

Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless communication with clients and colleagues.

Customer Service

Answer telephone calls and relay messages, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Electronic Enquiries

Respond to electronic enquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Supply Management

Order office supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring a well-stocked and organized workspace.

Information Management

Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, ensuring accurate and secure data storage.

Correspondence and Documentation

Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, ensuring error-free and professional communication.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

Will train.

Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
