The Retail Store Operations Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail stores. This includes overseeing sales, customer service, and inventory management.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for managing daily store operations, leading a team of sales associates, and driving business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and visual merchandising;
- Lead a team of sales associates, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities;
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets;
- Analyze sales data and develop reports to inform business decisions;
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures;
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to ensure efficient supply chain management;
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners to drive business growth;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, making recommendations for process improvements;
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail or operations management role;
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed business decisions;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines;
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field;
- Fluency in English;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications;
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation;
