The TEEMA Group is seeking a highly skilled Registered Behavioral Therapist (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will provide specialized behavioral support and interventions for students with behavioral challenges in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the root causes of behavioral issues.
- Analyze assessment data to develop targeted behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Develop and implement individualized BIPs.
- Use evidence-based techniques to support positive behavior changes.
- Monitor and adjust intervention plans based on student progress.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate behavioral strategies into the classroom.
- Provide training and resources to teachers and parents to support students' behavioral needs.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other team meetings.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
- Prepare reports and documentation required for IEPs and other school records.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding behavioral services.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
