Family Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring Family Caregiver to join our team at Rodora Barraquias. As a key member of our support staff, you will provide top-notch care for children in the employer's home.
About the RoleThis is a physically demanding role that requires flexibility, initiative, and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for a range of tasks including household management, childcare, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities- Assume full responsibility for a household in the absence of parents.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Shop for food and household supplies.
- Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
- Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
- Supervise and care for children.
- Take children to and from school and to appointments.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children.
- Help children with homework.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- A criminal record check
- A medical exam
- A reference check
- A vulnerable sector check
We offer a competitive salary of $50,000 per year, plus benefits.
