About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Officer to join our team at O&B Management Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate workplace accidents and illnesses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries and illnesses
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Provide training and education to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement health and safety strategies and initiatives
  • Monitor and report on health and safety metrics and trends to inform decision-making
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Professional certification in health and safety (e.g. CHSC, CRSP)
