We're disrupting the traditional fundraising model by providing electronic raffle solutions, recurring donations, and donor engagement strategies. Our platform has helped over 500 charitable organizations raise over $1 billion to date.

Your Role

As an Email Marketing and CRM Strategist, you will be responsible for optimizing our email campaigns, ensuring efficient workflow, and high-quality output from planning to execution.

  • Email Campaign Management:
    • Build and manage campaigns according to provided copy and design, ensuring all elements are correctly implemented.
    • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to guarantee successful email delivery.

Contact and Audience Management:

  • Update contact lists to ensure contacts are up-to-date, clean, and correctly segmented within the platform.
  • Audience building and segmentation: work with other teams to create targeted audience segments for ad campaigns and other marketing initiatives.

Automation and Integration:

  • Develop automation and integrations within Customer.io to enhance customer engagement and efficiency.
  • Identify and implement new campaign features and data flows to support email marketing initiatives.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Generate reports to track and analyze email campaign performance, determining benchmarks and making recommendations based on business impact.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role as an Email Marketing Manager.
  • Exceptional skills in tracking impact and ROI, demonstrating what is – or isn't – working.
  • Comfortable with CRM systems, email platforms, and data tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Proficient in HTML and CSS.
  • Analyze data to enhance performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with A/B testing and iterative content optimization.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Ascend FS offers a hybrid work environment, beautiful downtown Toronto office, and opportunities for career growth and development.
