Nurse Practitioner

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Interior Health, you will be responsible for providing personal and nursing care to patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Your scope of practice will vary according to the predictability of the outcome for a given client population.
Key responsibilities include performing assessments and planning, implementing and providing care, administering medications, and operating within the competency guidelines and full scope of practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
This is a casual opportunity, which means hours are not guaranteed and may vary, and shifts may be at short notice. However, casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.
Interior Health offers a competitive hourly wage, and this position is no exception. Effective April 1, 2024, the hourly wage for this position will be $32.84 to $41.35.
About this location/unit:
Lillooet Hospital & Health Centre provides full services, including medical, palliative, maternity, and ER coverage. The Emergency Department has 5 beds, including a cast room and treatment room, and is open 24 hours. The in-patient unit has 6 beds, including medical, palliative, and maternity. There are 2 RNs on shift.
