Job Description

Carcum Renovators is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our warehouse team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move materials and products.
  • Read blueprints and instructions to determine dimensions of structures or systems and material requirements.
  • Pick orders and stock materials and products in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Weigh materials and goods to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Make labels and attach them to goods as required.
  • Pack and unpack goods, and store them in a safe and organized manner.
  • Transport and distribute materials and goods to various locations within the warehouse.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels, using computerized inventory control systems as needed.
  • Visually inspect products for quality and damage.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a material handling or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

The Material Handler will work in a warehouse environment, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting, and bending.
